Treatment






Production idea: A family of unicorns, parents fight and the baby unicorn is upset and confused because he is in the middle of the conflict, parents see how does affects the child and make up.


Format: One shot, one camera angle and characters are the only ones who move.


Materials: Paint, Card, Paintbrushes, Pens, Pencils and Plasticine  


Characters: Tom (Father Unicorn), Katie (Mother Unicorn) and Billy (Baby Unicorn)


Sets/Backgrouds: Hills and sun painted by me.


Audio: Audio found on website (Unknown)

Evaluation








About: My animation was a call child- friendly short film about a family of unicorns and parents that fight that leaves the child confused and sad in the middle of the conflict; having to run to each parent and tries not to pick sides, the parents later realise that it making their child upset so they deal with the issues and make up and they lived happily ever after.




Pre-production: I painted and drew the animation background with too most of the time leaving me less time to complete my animation characters, I moulded, reshaped and designed all my characters.




Audience feedback: "I enjoyed watching Faisa animation video it was very child friendly and the music matched the characters, I understood the narrative behind the characters; I could tell that the yellow unicorn was the father, the purple unicorn was the mother and the smallest blue unicorn was the child. The animation was about the parents fighting and the child was in the middle of the conflict and in the end he gave up but the parents made up and they lived happily ever after. Some mistake that caught my eye was in some shots I saw your jacket and arm which interrupted the animation but other than that I like it." - Leona


Strengths and areas of improvement: Strengths I possess is art, I choose to join animation because I thought it would include more art and design rather than actual animation, however I did art at my previous school and I enjoyed that. Areas of improvement that I need to work on is appearance. this is my first time making an animation there was some successful aspects and some failure, one of my failures is when I accidently included my jacket in some of the shots, but other than that I think my animation was successful.
